Lady Gaga cancels rest of tour, because of severe chronic pain (TMS)

I thought it was interesting, I’m just reading this article about Lady Gaga and how she has fibromyalgia. I also read another article that states she has PTSD. (was raped by a producer who was 20 years older than her 19 years at the time) So, this article talks about fibromyalgia and Lady Gaga...

Some statistics on pain in Europe

I just wanted to post this to further bolster the idea that the way our 'modern western society' approaches pain is nuts. Although the statistics in the US are even worse, they are pretty bad in Europe too, including the Netherlands where I live. To do this I skimmed some reports and articles...

    Positive Psychology and Chronic Pain

Not all chronic pain is due to learned neural pathways in the brain.

Alan Gordon LCSW wrote in "Day 3: Identifying the Source" The conclusion is: if something can be found on the mri or ct, it is not tms, if nothing can be found it is tms. Once medically fixed, the leftover pain is tms. What about those diseases that cause pain but are not detectable, like...

Program What differentiates this TMS approach from what I did that could be the key?

My chronic pain started after an infection and an injury. It did not come out of the blue. Yet it stayed. The injury is too small to be detected by modern medicine, which gives me hope. I want to do the TMS treatment right. As I understand it, it is about expressing your emotions. Before...

Questions from a desperate beginner! Help needed!

Hello everyone! I will try to keep this as short as possible. Since early October 2016 i've had chronic pain in most of my body starting in my limbs ( mainly in my wrists and hands), then moving on to other parts of my body such as my groin (which has easily been the hardest to deal with). The...

Weird question ... almost there ... help!

So I am fairly certain my pain is 100% TMS, but I am still experiencing doubt and fear that there is something structurally wrong with my left leg (where I have had majority of my pain for 12 years.) It is mostly sciatica type pain and pirifornis stuff but also hip pain, knee pain/clicking...

Therapy Today Article on Chronic Pain

Hi everyone I found this lying around in my mums house. It's the most recent issue of Therapy Today in the UK. Nothing groundbreaking for anyone who knows about TMS, but still interesting to see articles like this. They seem to have taken Sarno's ideas and repackaged it, and can be added to...

Chronic pain after a dental surgery = tms?

My father had his teeth done about 18 months ago. I've gotta say, I don't know much about dental surgery, but he's had no mercury and no amalgam, he just has very white teeth now. He says he's still in pain because of it. He says he feels it when he's eating. Could this be tms? Thanks in advance.
