Hello all!
On the back of conversations in this thread around kickstarting the day with an injection of positivity, I started visually compiling some bumper sticker style mantras/affirmations I look at first thing in the morning. I have found them so effective that I carry the notebook with me throughout the day, looking at them when I need to. (See below)
The ones I find most useful on a day to day basis are:
- 'Trust that everything will work out in the end'
- 'Don't miss out on today by worrying about tomorrrow'
- 'Be the sea, not the debris' - Thanks @BloodMoon for that one! : )
I would love to build out more mantras/daily affirmations like this that help with self-compassion, patience, self-love, gratitude.. basically all of the things when lacking can lead to TMS symptoms.
So I would love if we could maybe compile a list of affirmations I could visually build out, and when they are compiled what I could do is turn these into both a downloadable pdf, and a little collection of affirmation cards people could order so as to have a physical version.
I know there are no shortage of affirmation card collections out there, but ones tailored specifically to TMS would be great to have and would be something I'd love to work on in the evenings.
Looking forward to hearing your throughts, and affirmations! : )
