What else is there - Seriously

If tms didn't work for you, people would get angry at you as well.

It's interesting that you think that people get angry at you when they try to continue to teach and encourage you with finding hidden anger. I haven't seen anyone here be angry at you for that. I've seen everyone, including myself, try to share with you the methods that worked for them and provide encouragement and tips and tricks and ways to help it work for you since it hasn't so far.

And yes, if you believe your CFS has an emotional element that would clash with the Phoenix Rising folks. I think some believe it exacerbates but they definitely are all about finding structural causes and solutions. And boy, some of them go to extreme lengths in that regard!

The thing is, you're on a forum that's all about mind-body/TMS techniques. If you've tried most of what's been suggested and patiently given those techniques a good go, then I guess you're hoping someone will come up with something new that you haven't already considered—which is presumably why you've been posting on a thread titled "What else is there... seriously?"

From what I can gather, no one has suggested anything that's new to you, or at least nothing that you feel is worth trying.

If it were me, I'd start a separate thread saying that you believe your CFS is due to trapped emotions, give a comprehensive list of everything you've tried so far, and ask if anyone has any fresh ideas. I'd also make it clear that you're not looking to be told you've been doing it wrong or simply haven't tried hard enough. If someone ignores that and goes down that route anyway, I'd just leave it. Don't argue or get drawn into it, because that can put off the very people who might have different suggestions to offer.

Then I'd just bump the thread every so often to see if anyone new has anything to add. In a way, it's like casting a fishing net and checking it now and again to see if there's anything new in it. Maybe someone will come up with a useful idea, maybe they won't.

In the meantime, I'd keep doing your own research into ways of releasing stuck emotions and, as you're already doing, get on with your life as best you can despite your symptoms.

This is a good idea. I would add to try and be open minded in what you hear and not immediately close down and accidentally be rude in your responses.
I feel like when new ideas are given to you if they are adaptions to something you've tried you immediately shut down. I know you don't believe this but I think that is actually a symptom of the TMS. Your TMS doesn't want you to find a solution becaues it thinks it is protecting you.

It's literally stress , anything stressful and it's months in bed for me, I can switch off the symptoms if I live a dull and boring life but every therapist has told me not to

I feel zero interest in emotions but I've had to go along with it and learn about them because that seems to be what the therapist wants or believes in

Thanks but I think people already know I have cfs

It's like there's this weird thing in the energy healing community were people believe it it doesn't work then the person trying to heal is to blame.

When let's be honest the results are dubious at best

I didn't know you have CFS.
Maybe you are hearing it as blame when we (I) say that your TMS brain is stopping you? Does that feel to you like blame?
In our TMS language, the TMS brain or what I call the lizard brain, are viewed as.....umm...separate entities? When we blame your lizard brain we are not blaming you, we are trying to help you see how we all have this primitive part of our brain that persuades us to do certain things that aren't always good for us. Taking that drink or drug when we are trying to quit. Eating that extra piece of cake when we are dieting. And staying in bed when we are trying to recover and face the world again.
The goal is to understand and realize that we don't have to let the lizard control. I think you have a very strong lizard and in many ways that is admirable because not only does it want to eat cake, it also wants to protect you from getting to the painful emotions. It's nice that it wants to protect you, but to do so your body creates physical obstacles. That's the TMS we all deal with here.

LOL. OK.
If you want we can stop responding to this thread and your other posts so you don't get messages any more if you don't want to be here.
Yes, and you can alter the 'preferences' in your personal account settings, @Lee222, so that you won't receive any notifications regarding this thread plus any other thread that you've contributed to. Also, if you go to the top right hand side/corner of this thread you can click the 'button' to 'unwatch' this thread, that is, if you originally clicked that button to 'watch' this thread.

I'm here because people keep messaging me and it shows in my notifications

Why are you here?
I'm here because I want to re-assure people that this is a method that can work, and also to have guidance along my own healing journey. So many kind folks on this forum have offered great suggestions. Some of which have worked, some of which have not, and some that don't "work" but feel really nice and help non-physically symptomatic parts of me, the sort of little "extras" that TMS can bring like anxiety, whirling thoughts, and helplessness. It also gives me a chance to practice some emotional regulation, which I'm getting much better at.

Okay but it's been the opposite for me, hasn't helped

Lee - I understand where you’re at completely. I thoroughly understand TMS, have worked very hard on my emotional life and traumas, and worked intensely with several TMS coaches, but have not improved. I am stuck, and feel utterly lost and have no clue how to feel better. The thing that has helped me is to have a better mindset, but that seems random and I can’t hold it.
