    Today I am thankful for:
    • Taking a moment to try skipping this morning while on a walk (coordination took a second, but was fun, once muscle memory kicked in!)
    • Revisiting more fun music from other eras (even found myself singing out loud this morning and spontaneous dance while making first meal of the day)
    • All the trees and the variations in their trunks and leaves and shapes
    • The organic reconnection with neighbors who moved away last year, but just by chance we were in the same place today at the same time and their wonderful hugs! Love the positive synchronicities.
    • Cashier at the store I walk to frequently remembering something small from a few years ago and asking about it. Very thoughtful.

Love this! I studied visual design and worked in the field for a few years.

Wonderful, @HealingMe! It's been awhile since I've used a lot of the tools, but it has reinvigorated me and I love looking at others' creations and even the things that seem so simple, but then you realize just how much skill had to go into creating them for them to actually look simple! Must have been interesting area to study!
At some point, I'd love to delve deeper into really understanding and utilizing negative space - so many concepts fascinate me.

    Today I am thankful for:
    • Great conversation with someone I met on the trail this morning
    • Learning more and different things from others
    • Curiosity
    • Phone call with my father and having the courage and openness to call him more often and allow him to be someone different than he was when I was growing up so many years ago. Hadn't spoken to him for several years, just because of my avoidance, keeping the past alive, and perhaps running from the challenge of it all. Interestingly, he is so different now, maybe my perception has shifted, maybe because we are all in the process of changing, or maybe because he was always a little bit of a lot of different things (as we all are), but maybe then and throughout these years my focus was only on the negative aspects of my "story" about him so that's all I could ever see. I'm excited to see more and more who he is becoming.
    • Weird realization that I could actually be open to loving myself. There has always been this undercurrent that anything I ever do might not be good enough or right or whatever. I've done a fair amount of loving kindness meditation and people have always said "you have to love yourself" And, I've felt like, yeah., yeah, yeah, sure, sure - the idea sounds great, but really, yeah, I don't see it. But, this strange... subtle, but profound epiphany seemed to arise, like what if you could actually widen that loving kindness and really feel it, like not just in the theory or saying it. Not sure where it takes me, but thankful for that realization today.

    Today I am thankful for:
    • A fun memory game just played with some relatives where we tried to remember the exact lay-out from a few places from our past. Amazing how many elements from those past places are still in there (the difficult ones and the challenge ones alike). Brain is pretty remarkable at retrieval if given a little time!
    • The addition of egg whites to oatmeal
    • Seeing the amazing sunrise this morning
    • The realization that I have been doing a number of things that just a few months ago I thought would never be possible
    • Playing with different tech tools to create something customized for my neice - fun creative experience!

    Today I am thankful for:
    • Past 30 days of gratitude practice and hearing about all the things people are thankful for
    • My tiny aloe vera plant that seems to have resurrected itself after it seemed not to be alive for the past 5 months (kept thinking I needed to let it go to compost, but suddenly it came back to life!)
    • Super helpful call with a customer service rep
    • A microwave (throughout these recent challenging times, I used one for the first time since I was at university and guess I forgot how helpful they can be!)
    • Haricot verts

I'm thankful for really understanding this work, and in turn even with symptoms being able to enjoy
Dinner at my favorite restaurant (were we normally only go for lunch), I had been craving broccolini!
People in community watching the sunset over the ocean while a guitar was played, people swam and surfed until dark
Salty air (and even a little bit of briney sealion scent)

After a successful fundraising, we (Divas Do Good) delivered 10 wall mounted fans to our local home for the elderly.

I’m going to meet my friend Belle for lunch. She rescues old dogs & has 13 at home with her.

    Cheese croissants for breakfast.

    A quiet morning

    Yesterday’s walk. Posting pictures

    @Mala Cheese croissants sound amazing!

That's such an interesting looking plant in the first picture with the black dots. Do you know what that is?
