    Small success!

I'm very happy to say I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Schubiner, and he feels I indeed have TMS. He stated he was 100% confident he could get me running again, and was as kind and thorough as everything I have read about him. I've been to therapy before, but was surprised at some connections...

    Si joint frustration

Thanks for your responses. Perhaps someone has had a similar experience with a different joint (their knee or something) that felt "out of alignment" but improved with TMS work? Thanks again. I did some venting last night and noticed my pain is better today. Small steps I guess!

    Si joint frustration

Hi all, I could use some good vibes. Most people on this forum discuss their symptoms in terms of their pain--that's why we're here after all, but it would be helpful to hear from any SI joint sufferers who were helped by this program. My pain is mostly leg pain, but I don't have a lot of pain...

    BACK AND LEG PAIN

Hi Dani! I have an SI joint diagnosis as well and am trying to wrap my head around TMS. Would love to hear more about your story and/or if you've made any progress! Hope all is well.

    Fear

Hi Dom, Perhaps you are not as afraid of the emotion as your judgement of yourself for feeling it. Crying makes me feel embarrassed and a bit ashamed. I grew up in a home where we "sucked it up," "pushed through," and issues like depression were "weak." I realize this is the same self-talk I...

Si Joint vs. Herniated Disk - Please help

Tigerlily, I can't tell you how helpful this is. I really needed to hear someone with similar symptoms made it to the other side. I'm so glad to hear you are out living life! I started work again this week and, as I have a physical job, I was worried I would lose the progress I had made in the...

SI Joint help - New to TMS

Hi Walt, You make a good point. Thanks for your thoughts--as a new nurse I was prepared for the "gross" factor of healthcare and have always had a strong stomach in the midst of procedures and emergencies many would find overwhelming. I wasn't prepared for the emotional toll, and it took some...

    Made some progress...

It's so encouraging to hear this! I can't believe you have dealt with this for so long--how frustrating, but congrats to you for not quitting and glad you are finding some relief. Thanks for your post on my thread about SI joints. It's one of those diagnoses that is less common than herniated...

SI Joint help - New to TMS

Thanks to all for your thoughts and reassurance and happy thanksgiving! Tt-- Thank you validation like that is helpful. The funny thing is I actually work with a lot of pain patients and I have always been so saddened (and a little fearful) of what it must be like to live through that...and now...

Si Joint vs. Herniated Disk - Please help

Hi Tigerlily, I have a similar diagnosis re: SI joint dysfunction and am just beginning to explore how much of this is actually TMS. I have similar symptoms that you mention--leg length changes, pops and clicks, and leg pain in certain places (mostly my feet.) Have you had any luck? I'm...

SI Joint help - New to TMS

Here is my first attempt at exploring my own thoughts around TMS, and I am looking forward to the thoughts of those in this community! I am 29 and until a year ago, quite active. I'm a nurse, and to make a long story short, about one year ago I was having the worst migraine of my life. So...
