The SIRPA Training Programme is open to medical and mental health professionals, plus coaches, who are already well regulated by their own professional body.

The programme is delivered in a 4 day block, followed by a final day for those who wish to discuss case studies and demonstrate an indepth working knowledge.

The 4 day course consists of lectures, practical workshops and role play. Where possible patients attend on the last day to provide a first hand account of their recovery. Georgie Oldfield provides personal support following the course as necessary and a forum is being developed for peer support on the SIRPA website.

To become a licensed SIRPA Practitioner

Certain benefits are available to Practitioners who have been through the SIRPA Recovery training and a certificate of attendance will be supplied. Validation by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy is being applied for.
