By increasing awareness of your internal state, you are able to attend to your anxiety before it increases and turns into physical pain. Over the next few days, pay special attention to your physiological state as you go about your daily activities. What do you notice about your internal state? Is it easy or difficult to catch your anxiety early on? Are you surprised by the amount of anxiety you previously pushed aside and "powered through" throughout a day?
