What is your association to the TMS community?
I have been working with Dr. Dan Ratner for 6 years. I also have created a structured TMS recovery program that I have used in a Day Treatment Program.
Have you ever suffered from TMS? If so, how did you recover? (optional)
Yes, most of my life. I had back pain and groin pain. After multiple surgeries, I found Dr. Schubiner’s book. Then eventually, I started working with Dr. Dan Ratner.
What insurance plans do you currently accept? Out of network
Do you have a sliding scale of payment for people who are not covered by insurance? No.
Are you able to conduct sessions over the phone and/or via internet video services (i.e. Skype or FaceTime)? Yes.
What have you done to educate yourself about TMS, and what plans do you have for further education about TMS?
I am still working with Dr. Ratner. I also update myself on Alan Gordon’s recovery program and watch his videos.
What mindbody books do you recommend to your patients? In particular do you recommend Dr. Sarno's books?
I always recommend the Divided Mind. I also recommend Peter Levine’s books. I also recommend Alan Gordon’s videos and recovery program.
