Having said I liked MB for his integrity, some red flags are going up, since my RNA drops googling. First off there's this... http://www.myrnadropsblog.com/2013/03/31/rna_drops_chicken_soup/
To quote...
"When my friend Michael Brown called me to ask me to write a review of his book before I read it my mind went into a frenzy of reactions. The first reaction was: BRILLIANT! What a wonderful reversal of book-world protocol! Yes, I thought to myself with child-like glee, invite folks to write review and then get a free copy of the book for which the review was written. For just a fleeting second a twinge of jealousy colored my admiration for such a clever scheme…somehow I wish it would have been MY idea to do this type of promotion when releasing a new book. WHAT A GREAT IDEA!!!"
Er... no, not a great idea, but a fraudulent one, or run-of-the-mill scam. You're supposed to get a free copy of the book from MB, but you don't, if you read the article and comments. His inspiration for the book is drawn from Bob Neveritt, who also goes under other names, and is the creator of the RNA drops. Not sure what to make of him, listened to him on youtube and seemed quite cerebral, anyway didn't appeal. http://achieveradio.com/payday/#arch. Obviously MB is into this guy. At this point I'm feeling a little sceptical of his claims for the RNA drops. He says he's eating icecream everyday, contrary to other posts he's written about sugar and healthy eating. He's been taking Ayahuasca regularly, eight months every 2 weeks. Nothing wrong with that, but says the RNA drops stopped his seeking with medicinal plants. In fact all the claims for the drops, he might well have made for TPP, which reflects adversely on TPP perhaps, since it didn't resolve these issues. Not that I think anything is a cure-all, it's a journey. Though you should see improvements over time, if something is working for you.
All this doesn't really detract from TPP for me, which is a workbook that contains some simple universal truths, that many people describe elsewhere, just that MB's packaging of it is unique and doable.
Will be interesting to hear what Brian makes of these drops.
The people and organizations that Dr Barrett unmasks on Quackwatch publish reams of negative statements about him. However, Dr Barrett has never been successfully sued for any of his allegations about Quackery (although many have tried). He does make a lot of people mad; that's for sure. In fact, he's always involved with litigation. Just interested in what he has to say about RnA Drops. Sure, he has a bias, but so do the people who attack him. I'd be very surprised if RnA Drops has been scientifically tested in a peer-reviewed double-blind random experiment. Have to see what he replies to my inquiry. Of course, us TMSers already know from our own experience that there is some kind of body-mind link. But I'd sure like to know the active ingredients in these RnA Drops.
"RnA Drops are the New Alchemy for the New Environment! Enhance creativity and empower yourself to achieve the highest expression of your super-coolness! RnA Drops give new information to our rna which affects our dna via an improved tuning function of Chromosome 14, allowing the replication of perfect cells. Imagine a photocopier that's duplicating a faded master text and the toner is also running low. RnA Drops 'enhance the master text' and 'replenish the toner' allowing the new master copy to make refreshed, perfect cells."
Cool.
