I think there is something that keeps popping in my head when I try to deal with the possibility of TMS. I feel most people have logical issues such as a sore back, RSI, sore neck etc. If my situation was 'normal' I would move along with TMS 100%, but there is a 'but'. My situation is strange, not run of the mill. I have a prickly sensation in the nerve endings of both legs ( not my feet). It's always on my legs but it moves around. Sometimes on one leg, sometimes the other leg, sometimes both- weird. I also get a surging adrenaline-like feeling that stems from my chest and adds to the prickly feeling. Being in bed reading and doing exercise help. It has gone away twice in the past. Also, I have been tested extensively by numerous doctors and everything comes back normal.
My concern is that I never see this type of sensation mentioned in any of the TMS books. The closest would be sciatica nerve pain, which is different. Sciatica seems to fit in the normal realm to me. I suppose this haunts me a bit - hard to let go of the what ifs and believe me I know the what's ifs are counterproductive. Sorry for rehashing but I had to get it off my chest.
