Alan G. New TMS Study

Alan Gordon LCSW

TMS Therapist
Hi all,
Howard Schubiner and I are fundraising for a new TMS brain imaging study, which we believe will be a big step toward the medical community's acceptance of this approach.

To watch the video, click the following link. We'd appreciate your help in spreading this as far and wide as possible. We're hoping that the TMS community can rally behind this cause.

Contributed today. I encourage others who can afford to, to please give something. Even if it's just a little. This is a very worthy project!!

Love the study and such a prestigious group of people involved.

I encourage everyone to donate what they can. Every $ counts.

I did contribute as well as sharing on my FB page.

I dont understand the apparent underlying assumption that pain can be seen on a brain scan.

Good point. Although neuroradioligsts can't look at a brain scan and directly identify pain, there are specific findings that are highly correlated with chronic pain.

But the exciting thing about this study is that Tor Wager and Yoni Asher have developed a process specifically geared not just to identify pain on a brain scan, but back pain. This issue is explained in more detail in the FAQ on the fundraising page.

and if you chip in enough you can even go on a romantic vacation with Dr. Schubiner.... (just watch the video)

I sincerely hope you will collect some valuable data that the scientific community can't ignore
