Extreme anxiety

Heidi83

Newcomer
Hi,
The last year I have had 24/7 panic attacks and exhaustion. I have been unable to be alone most of the day, and im an introvert, so being around people exhaust me. Its been a nightmare. It came from antidepressants, but contiunued long after discontionuation, and then i realised with all the other symptoms, it resembeled TMS, and i have had sucess in solving pain before with this.

I have been under immense preassure the last two years. It broke me. And now i cant recognise the woman in the mirror, aged 10 years in 1 and look always tired, afraid and extremly lonely. I actually get anxiety from seeing myself, because of how i look. Dont even want anyone to see me like this.

Everyday i distract with anything that can get my mind of my current situation. But i am more or less stuck in panic mode most of the day, making poor desicitions and myself even more exhausted. Im at my wits end.

I have the last two days tried to use TMS on this, and it seems to work. I have so much feelings that i have bottled up that if feels like i am carrying a ton of stone with me in my stomach.

I have lost so much the last two years, my best friend, everyone i know (because they dont understand whats happening with me, and turned away), money, my home, my health and my dignity and self love. I dont understand how to save myself and get a life where i can smile again and feel loved and belonging.

Yesterday my tooth broke in another stressful event, i have broken a leg before, and know it was TMS because its not possible to break bones in that way. Just by walking normally. I dont have problems with density. So im not suprised if the tooth was also tms. I have seen what the brain can do to distract.

Please, anyone, can you comment? Thanks

I am also going to ask about your experience with psychotherapy - it appears warranted, due to what seems like an extreme amount of mental suffering. Remember, even Dr. Sarno said that some people can't just think their way out of "TMS" with knowledge, but need therapeutic support.

Anxiety is the snake eating its own tail. Anxiety increases your cortisol, which leads to fight-or-flight mode, leading to even more anxiety. It's possible to break out of this state. Some people read the TMS books and feel better, while others journal, seek therapy and/or medication, etc. There are many options available - and the best options will be tailored to you.

What does anxiety feel like to you? Do you find yourself stuck in obsessive thought loops?
