Wondering if others on this forum have struggled with environmental allergies with regards to TMS?

Over the years I've had issues where I start sneezing, get burning eyes, fibromyalgia, headaches and severe insomnia when I 'feel' I'm triggered by physical items in my environment. I honestly feel like I'm losing my mind as some fairly innocuous items, like power tools, shoes, and even decorative wall cladding make me feel sick. And these items are not even inside my house. I'll keep them in the garage etc. I use to believe that these were real allergies, but they do not make sense. Over the years I will throw offending items like this away, and then miraculously start feeling better. As much as I believe it's all in my mind, the allergic reactions and insomnia last almost indefinitely (days, weeks, months) etc until I dispose of items permanently.

I feel like I'm gong insane and in never ending panic attacks.

I've been journaling, meditating, doing breathing exercises etc etc and nothing is helping.

Has anyone else on here been through TMS issues anything like the above?

As I replied to you on another of your threads, 'The Mindful Gardener'/Helmut's brain had him suffering from 'allergies'/chemical sensitivities https://www.tmswiki.org/forum/threads/time-to-write-about-the-embarrassing-stuff.29953/#post-160150 (Time to write about the embarrassing stuff). He had other mind/body symptoms too, to include gut issues... and in total it took him 3 years to recover from them all...

I'm not being a 'Debbie downer' and saying that it will take you that long. Helmut spent some of that time 'experimenting' with mind/body techniques which led him down some blind alleys along the way (and, his other symptoms will have taken him extra time to get over because the brain doesn't usually/often switch off all the symptoms in one go) but for him and many of us it can take a fair while to recover from whatever symptoms our brain has decided to give us.

If it were me I know that, personally, I would try following his advice, as I'd feel that I'd really have nothing to lose by doing so (except, hopefully, my symptoms!)
I proffer that that's when the primitive part of your brain (that we all have) feels safe because the item is no longer there and so then it has to pick on something else to give you symptoms to distract you from your rage and heighten your anguish/anxiety.

Another approach is to work your way through the free SEP, if you haven't already done so https://www.tmswiki.org/ppd/Structured_Educational_Program (Structured Educational Program).

I'd also suggest reading Dr Sarno's books (again, if you haven't already done so). Dr Sarno discusses allergies and chemical sensitivities as manifestations of 'Tension Myositis Syndrome' in his book 'The Mindbody Prescription' and here's a short testimony from someone regarding Sarno's ideas helping them overcome not only pain, but also issues like multiple food sensitivities and multiple chemical sensitivities after reading a Sarno book https://www.thankyoudrsarno.org/tag/food-sensitivities (food sensitivities - Thank You, Dr. Sarno)

And here's another success story from the success story subforum for someone who recovered from food sensitivities and majorly reduced chemical sensitivities to encourage you to keep doing mind/body work https://www.tmswiki.org/forum/threads/tms-healing-it-can-work-for-things-you-might-think-it-cant.27968/#post-144890 (TMS healing: it can work for things you might think it can't) and another success story here too https://www.tmswiki.org/forum/threads/journaling-from-despair-to-hope.24620/#post-128039 (Journaling: From despair to hope...) Keep going - don't give up!
