In this subforum, you will find content about All the Rage (formerly titled Story of Pain), an upcoming documentary about Dr. Sarno and the TMS approach to chronic pain. The film is directed Michael Galinsky, a former TMS sufferer, and is produced by his film production company Rumur.

This film has been ten years in the making. To finish up the production, Rumur has launched a 38-day campaign on Kickstarter to gain more support and reach even more people. We are very excited to partnering with Rumur to help support the film and spread the word. @Caroline Rumur, who is working with Michael on the film, will be posting clips and other content from or related to the film in this subforum at least once a day for the duration of the film's 38-day kickstarter campaign.

The following is a description of All the Rage from Rumur's website:

Called the best doctor you’ve never heard of by Forbes magazine, Dr. Sarno is a pain and rehabilitation specialist who has pioneered a successful treatment approach to chronic pain. Unfortunately, many of his practices have not been readily accepted by mainstream medicine, who tend to concentrate on profit-driven, invasive procedures.

Rumur Studios are making a documentary that will raise awareness for Dr. Sarno’s mind-body approach to tackling chronic pain.

Ten years in the making, this story follows our director Michael Galinsky as he chronicles his own battle with chronic pain and – at his wits ends – goes to see Dr. Sarno as his last resort. The impact is startling. We have also spoken to numerous other pain specialists and sufferers, including Dr.Gabor Mate, Larry David and Howard Stern who provide their own experiences with pain and Dr. Sarno’s treatment.​

Those who know how to do marketing on Facebook and Twitter can be a big help in
spreading the word on social media about the video when it's available.
 
Hey ... could someone please post the link to the Kickstarter - All the Rage page? I can't seem to find it.

It would be nice to have one sticky with all the relevant All the Rage links.

Funny to find this page three years after it's birth. Was searching Rage Page thinking there must be a thread for rage.
I want an enclave for letting it OUT.
So, how do I make a rage page? It is too late tonight to figure it out.
For now, suffice to say I had my heart broken today, when I learned that a 12 year old patient of mine was told by his controlling and cruel dad that a meditation app for his phone was given to him by his mom so that I could SPY on him! And that the hypnotherapy we did for OCD and acute stress symptoms was brainwashing.
I have no path to take but to feel the incredible pain and helplessness, the rage... I am simply STUNNED at this man's cruelty.
My whole body buzzes with tension when I think about it, can only process it in small bits and pieces with a few very safe people.
This is why I need a RAGE PAGE. Maybe this weekend I will make one. A rage thread.

Bodhigirl, WOW, I feel badly that you have been exposed to to someone with this lack of knowledge of the things that would help his child. Sounds like Dad has a bunch of issues himself. As a seasoned meditator and a Hypnotist (who first learned about Hypno when it was used by a counselor with me and then I got certified in Heart Centered Hypnosis ) I understand how these two modalities are huge for this childs well being and healing. I get it. That all said, let's get to YOU. RAGE it out if that is what you feel you need to do. Be angry, do it! RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW. And please remember as screwed up as this is, and I don't mean to minimize this child's need, take care of you! Serenity prayer , you know? Peace, Matthew
