Hello yes I am symptom -free now. I found a story from another pelvic pain sufferer that they got rid of their pain by taking 1,000 magnesium bisglycinate. I tried this along with a TMS technique where I stopped fearing the symptoms. I also took a lot of CBD.
I still take a small dose of AD...
Your situation seems to be similar to mine, am also in a high-stress profession and same symptoms, albeit for a female ... Three things that helped me have been: low dose naltrexone, PT and being indifferent to the pain. So if in the past I used to get severe anxiety and nausea from any little...
Hi
If prednisone works for you, why not give Low dose naltrexone a try? It is an anti inflammatory and also prescribed for pain. It's not a conventional medication but it is basically risk free. You can take anything with it apart from opioids. I believe in trying everything there is before...
Neuropathic pain always benefits from work on emotions and the mind.
You say you are bitter towards your ex however you mention having had pains from time to time before the surgery even happened. There was predisposition to chronic pain in there.
What I am suspicious of is intense pain as soon...
Hi Paige
reading your post made me very happy.
I suffer from vulvodynia too. Can I just ask what your symptoms were? I have been battling my nerve pain since 2013, with remissions and relapse
I came to the conclusion I have a form of CS since I developed nerve pain in 2013 and got a remission using amitriptyline and lyrica combined. I was able to get off them and live pain free for another year and 4 months. This excludes nerve damage since that pain would recur as soon as one stops...
I know your reply is old, but I have had similar issues... I had nerve pain (vulvodynia) start in 2013, it went into remission using medication, however when I stopped taking it I developed severe fatigue and also exhaustion "attacks". Now the pain has returned but the fatigue has gone
:) you're probably right, it's quite old.
I suffer from nerves buzzing randomly in my body caused by vulvodynia (nerves irritating each other probably). I see you mention you also have problems with an overactive nervous system. This is my issue as well. I will buy the Sarno books asap and...
I need to add I haven't bought Sarno's books yet or any other, I made a huge list of about 10 books on mindbody syndromes to educate myself.
Sarno's theory makes a lot of sense. I know this because I've also suffered from mysterious random pains in the past 5 years as these have been the most...
Hello,
I have a quick question. I read some articles on somatization, some mention improvement with antidepressants like tricyclics while others mention that psychosomatic symptoms respond to no therapy at all.
Which one is it ? I am highly confused. I have only came across this website 3...
I came across a great book, it has a lot of studies mentioned in it, very scientific, it covers most common pain syndromes, IBS, fibro, Urethral/bladder pain, and much more.
I was able to read the first chapter on Fibromyalgia, really good. He mentions a study with a control group and a placebo...
I have had TMJ on and off since I started my University degree and I agree with Plum, it's stress based .. I find that having a bath with Epsom salts before bedtime helps me relax the muscles ... I empathise because TMJ pain is horrible ..
AH what also helps a lot is massaging some trigger...
