    Lumbar spondylosis

Hi everyone, I have low back pain and had an x-ray of my back. The impression was that I had mild lumbar spondylosis. Is there any evidence that this type of diagnosis can be a potential symptom of TMS? Thanks!

    Day 25 Still at it

Well, I'm still going through the program. I missed a few days this week, which ironically is probably a good sign. That means I had the energy and the ability to overcome my anxiety to do things after work - and I was too busy/tired to work on my SEP "homework" when I finally came back home...

    Day 11 R-S-I? How about T-M-S.

Thanks for your encouragement, Walt! I'm with you on the "virtual power outage," it's probably something I need to do. :) Hope you have a good holiday as well.

    Day 3 Exercise

Nice work! I remember when I was diagnosed with wrist tendonitis. I put my wrists in braces and used them as little as possible. It only made things more sore and worse! Eventually, I just started building up to regular activity again - and it definitely helped! So you're not alone, keep it up!

    Day 11 R-S-I? How about T-M-S.

[2015/05/22] Armchair Linguist's success story really resonated with me. I developed bad wrist pain and tingling when I was in high school. It got so bad I even allowed myself to get talked into doing carpal tunnel surgery on my right wrist during college (like her, I too have used a keyboard...

    Day 10 Progress, I guess

[2015/05/21] My progress has been… confusing? I'm not sure what the best word to describe it is. I’ve never really dealt with something that’s non-linear like this. Usually, you take a medicine and you gradually get better (or nothing happens); same with surgery and other interventions. This one...

    Day 10 Relapse

Hey mirepoix, It is sad that you relapsed, I am sorry for that, but I think it's really cool of you to come back here and pick up where you left off. You may feel like you had no choice in the matter, given your pain, but you truly did. Every day that you get out of bed and decide to fight by...

    Day 1 The first step.

Lizzy, You are right. I'm definitely happy to be here - both in the program and in this community. What a wonderful tool that has been provided to me, and I thank all of you regulars who scour the forums just to provide feedback and encouragement! Wannarun, Absolutely!!

    Day 1 whereiam

Hey wannarun, I'm right there with you. I just started this journey, and doing some of the exercises plus looking at myself in this new manner, it made me realize just how much I do worry about things. The good news for us, I think, is that simply recognizing these worries is a step in the right...

    Day 1 The first step.

[2015/05/10] One month ago, I was given the book The Mindbody Prescription from a relative. Like most people, I was highly skeptical of what Dr. Sarno was advocating. But even if his understanding of what TMS is or how it causes pain is incorrect, I could not deny his results - thousands of...
