Curious about if TMS is the same as stress related physical symptoms

I am going to try to word this the best as I can, to try to explain what I mean. Is TMS the same as physical symptoms caused by stress? I know stress can really mess you up, and cause physical symptoms. It caused my stomach lining to erode a few years ago, per findings on an endoscopy. This isnt...

    Non-painful sensations?

Yes so much the same! Any little twitch buzz or tingle can send me spiraling so so badly ! The mysterious and unnerving really makes sense .

Do you go back and re read journal entries or not?

That makes sense. Yes I'm gonna keep a section as a life reflection and all TMS/brain dumps etc I will delete. Important things will do lists. I came across this from Nicole's site and it's golden ! https://mytmsjourney.com/resources/journalspeak-by-nicole-sachs-lcsw/ (JournalSpeak by Nicole...

    Non-painful sensations?

For me majority isnt pain. More so aches, tingling, buzzing etc. I think because those symptoms give me more anxiety and distraction than pain would.

Do you go back and re read journal entries or not?

What type of journal entries do you guys keep ? I was thinking I COULD include the negative things but in a more thoughtful way after I've done my dump and delete lol . But not keep the pages and entries after entries of the same stuff .

Do you go back and re read journal entries or not?

Thank you! This is helpful after reading her website it does make sense. I was finding that I would continuously journal these things and let it out but I wouldn't actually feel what I was writing about if that makes sense. I'll just quickly voice to text get it out or type it and then going...

Do you go back and re read journal entries or not?

This is something I am curious about. I find that re reading journal entries gives me alot of anxiety . I have so much trauma and pain . I try to let it all out in my journal so I can try to "manifest" pave a better path going forward once that is out, but I wonder if that is just more...

    Fasciculations/ Muscle twitches and tremors

*raises hand * buzzing in legs, hands. When it sparks up it feels like a cell phone is going off in my body. Muscle twitches. Tingling. My chin was tingling yesterday . When I really believe this is tms it goes away, and another symptom pops up lol . This crap is exhausting . I've had MRI and...

    Psycho-Physiological Dizziness Syndrome (PPDS)

Doing tms work and somatic stuff has really helped mine. I once had it so bad I was in motion dizzy literally 24/7 for three years straight. That left me terrified to lay down flat , or on my right side. ( I do get legit bppv episodes very occasionally) But this is diff. I did the steady coach...

    Eustachian Tube Dysfunction

I have the same thing. Mine started years ago after coming off of celexa. Ive been to many ENTS over the years, and my hearing/ETD tests always come back normal. I havnt done allergy testing yet but its on the radar. I know exactly what you mean. My ears constantly have pressure and feel like...

How do you not go to the doctor for new symptoms?

This makes me think of some of my similar experiences. I have had a host of health issues for a couple of years now following extreme traumatic stress. I did have a diagnosed yeast infection which turned into BV, this lasted for 2 or more months. It did go away and I was symptom free for a...
