Could use a bit of support </3

So true. And learning to develop a relationship with different types of pain. Intuitively, I think I can just feel the difference between TMS pain and other discomfort. I don't usually feel any pain while I am training. It's usually afterwards and when I am going to sleep at night. I think it's...

Could use a bit of support </3

Totally. Thank you for the reminder! I recommitted to going back into my journaling and am also doing a caffeine detox and cleanse (because I was using food to numb out from feelings) Within a few days, here I am - swimming in grief over my mothers death. I haven't cried this much in a while...

Could use a bit of support </3

That is fascinating. I never thought of it that way. My sense is my first step is to remove the self judgement from my experience of either training and not training. I'm taking some time off and will ease back in with care. With out judgement. The judgement to me feels like "there's just...

Could use a bit of support </3

I did the full 30 day TMS course, daily embodiment somatic practices, psychotherapy/EMDR and am in a shadow work support group :) There's a lot in my reservoir. I am going to give myself some more grace and patience.

Could use a bit of support </3

Hey guys. I'm not new here, but I've been gone for months. Some background: My low back and hip pain started around last December. I'm pretty much textbook TMS, with the caretaking I was doing for my family at the time etc etc... I found some relief using the Sorno method.. I reduced my pain...

That Stubborn Last 5% of Pain

Thought I was due for a little check in! I'm approaching exactly 3 months since the onset of pain. I think at this rate, I'm moving in the right direction - I started the structured educational program and really relinquished my diagnosis exactly one month ago. I've recovered I would say 85%...

Day 24.. Minor Re-Emergences & Perfectionism - could use a quick pep talk

That's totally it! I spent some time journaling a dialogue back and froth from parts of myself and exploring where I was making it about "winning" and gaining some sense of accomplishment. I think the same applies for other stressors in my life - my back started aching last night while in the...

Day 24.. Minor Re-Emergences & Perfectionism - could use a quick pep talk

Starting this out by saying - my original low back pain has diminished by 90% of what it was. But it's creeping back a bit. There were days where I felt zero pain, or a whisper every once in a while through out the day. Now that it's creeping back, it's more of a general ache in the whole area...

My original low back pain is 100% gone :') .. chest pressure popping up now

Yup! I got sober this year after all this awful stuff happend in my family. After I got sober, the back pain emerged, and the over eating became a bigger issue. Food was a major comfort to me through out this year but the issue got out of control, I just can't stop when I start and I Now -...

My original low back pain is 100% gone :') .. chest pressure popping up now

Thanks Jan! Last year when it emerged, I thought it was my lungs. So I had my lungs and heart checked. I'm 10000% sure it isn't lungs or heart at this point. I think if I were to do anything, the natural next step would be an endoscopy. That seems really invasive. The only thing it would rule...
