I am new to the TMS concept. I am still working with doctors and having test done to rule out anything serious. I know it is important to have checked for any serious medical issues. With that being said is it wise to get started? Furthermore I'm not sure where to start or what to do?

Welcome to the forum my dear. Have you read any Sarno? Or any other TMS authors?

We usually suggest people start with The SEP or The Structured Education Program which was created by people who have recovered from TMS. You can find that here:

    http://www.tmswiki.org/ppd/Structured_Educational_Program (Structured Educational Program)

There is a second, neuroscience based program which shakes down the traditional Sarno-based approach in the light of recent scientific discoveries.

You can of course do both and there are threads/subforums for further exploration and help.
