Tell us about yourself:
My name is Dr Tovah Goldfine and I am a MindBody TMS Pain, Stress/Disease Specialist, Doc of Chiropractic & Rehabilitation for 34 years. Even before I got my degree, I was sure there was a body mind connection with pain and disease. My mother had Multiple Sclerosis and this began my search for understanding the stress, disease, pain brain connection. I am blessed and honored to be in a position to help people all over the world, get Pain Free from TMS as well as know their "true doctor" within.

Additional Questions for Physicians

What services do you provide your patients after diagnosis?
I prepare 6-7 tools to help them change their relationship with pain and ultimately change their thoughts and actions around pain and their body. Some get the tools and that is all they need, others need my "coaching" and we work together closely for 4-6 weeks.

Please walk us through one or more examples of what happens during a session, and how that changes over the course of working with a client.
I will recommend Knowledge.. that the client read and learn as much as possible, for some, this is all they need to get pain free. Others need the following tools, Journaling daily, Meditation daily, Accepting 1000% that their diagnosis is TMS and the cause of their pain is psychological. The patient must participate in a regular exercise program, I have added a tool for forgiveness if any of their emotions are around this issue. Gratitude and Compassion for one self plays a huge role and we start a Gratitude journal. I ask them to write each night 5 things they are grateful for . I may use various CBT tools as the client needs to use daily repetition in changing their relationship with themselves as well as the pain.
