Dr. Zafirides Understanding Anger: Where It Comes From and How to Control It

Peter Zafirides

Physician
This was a great episode. Thanks for posting the link. Anger is a normal emotion that all of us have, but it is, like you mentioned, important to understand where it comes from. I liked that you mentioned that if a person is angry at someone, it is rarely about that person. More likely they are simply getting angry through that person. The true cause is something that happened in their past.
The way we react to situations is based, in part, to events that happened in our past. Invesitgating our past will help us understand how and why we react to situations a certain way. It will help us understand why we get angry at certain situations and at certain people.
This is a great episode and has a whole bunch of useful information in it.
