This all started after a halloween party last week . There were speakers they were loud and I had to go right next to it to sign a waiver for 10 -20 seconds . I had the ear ringing after I when I got home I was only there for about two hours . The next few days I was googling about hearing damage etc anx read about tinnitus. 3 or 4cdays afterc
I noticed the sound in my right ear when in a super quiet room it's all I can think about and I keep thinking worst case scenario this is for life and I cannot calm down. I'm having trouble sleeping and ive just been laying in bed thinking of all those concerts I went to and loud music video games I've listened to and I'm seriously concerned I have hearing loss caused tinnitus and I'm scared its permanent.
I'm seeing a doctor on Saturday to see what what they say incase it might be an infection or a cold or could even be related to my jaw muscles as I noticed on my left side it hurts and my left ear also hurts.
What also worries me is I cant seem to find many success stories on noise induced tinnitus and I think that's why I'm so scared. I have told my gf but I cant tell my family as they think it's just my anxiety and it probably is.
Why am I finding it difficult to accept it's my anxiety?
