Thanks everyone. Sara, I had forgotten about that in Steve O's book.
I have a lot of sadness about what I perceive as lost time from the onset of my pain to now. My kids are 2 years older and I often feel a lot of regret and grief over not being able to be for them who I would like to be. I don't believe that they feel that way, but I do. I believe I have been repressing a lot of this sadness. Anyway I don't like to dwell on it or follow it down a path to negative thinking, however, I do feel I need to find a way to express it. Is allowing this sadness to come to the surface a bad thing because it is in a way focusing on symptoms? Or do I just allow myself to grieve over the lost time, but tell myself it's going to end?
Thanks
MC
