Week 0 So so

Pain seems to come and go now. Which is a good start yesterday was great and today wasn't so great but I've only been at this for six days now so I'm sure it'll be consistent soon.

The pain will come and go or lessen or get stronger until you discover its emotional causes.
I know it's common for us to monitor our pain each day, but the less you can think about it or check it, the better.
I keep myself well-distracted, doing things I like. Happy thoughts and activities keep me from thinking about any pain or worry.

I do believe that it's better to just try to ignore it. Maybe the key for me is to not concentrate on all the emotional factors too much and just try not to care about the pain and just accept it for what it is. I'm starting to realize that concentrating too much is just as unhelpful as thinking it's a structural problem
