Hello Kade:
@Andy Bayliss just posted this wonderful video on "TMS" (called a variety of things, especially neuroplastic pain) that might help:

Here are some success stories from people who suffered from chronic pelvic pain: https://www.tmswiki.org/forum/search/5614467/?q=pelvic&o=date&c[node]=27 (Search Results for Query: pelvic | TMS Forum (The Mindbody Syndrome))

Here is the free Structured Educational Program, which is free on this website that will guide you through exercises to help gain a better understanding of your pain, your psychology and personality and how to engage in various techniques that can help you overcome your pain https://www.tmswiki.org/ppd/Structured_Educational_Program (Structured Educational Program) it starts with reading any book by Dr. Sarno. The Divided Mind is a great place to start since it deals with a variety of patients, practitioners and types of pain.

Please feel free to ask any questions and let us know what you think!

Had this. I can sympathize with what you are going through. My humble opinion is that stress or trauma causes these symptoms and now you are in more pain that causes more stress that keeps the cycle going. The first step is believing that there is nothing wrong with you and that this is all a manifestation of stress. It can take a while, but it is the way out.

I experienced pelvic pain too and recovered and you can too! It was probably one of my more frightening physical symptoms. Start with the Structured Educational Program but I also really like Alan Gordon's Pain Recovery Program because it teaches you to not be frightened by the sensations and pain aka disabling the fear. There's also some great concepts he teaches like Outcome Independence which spoke to me and helped me.
