You’re doing so good, @Jimmy Todd ! You know exactly what’s causing this new pain— And you’re even focusing on it. Perfect. I also say “yes” to so many things I don’t want to do. I guess for people like us, we need to learn to recognize what we really want in the very beginning, before we say yes. Don’t get discouraged this is all part of it— Symptoms come and go, But you are on the healing path. Remember, it’s not linear! I like to watch these videos by a guy named Helmut, who healed from 75 symptoms. Yep. He has a lot of good things to say. And one of them is symptoms are not an indication of how close you are to getting rid of your TMS. Here’s the video:

I'm doing Schubiner's workbook and being mindful today especially that symptoms can get worse or move around. I did my workout yesterday, had no problem, and came home feeling proud of myself and good. My right trap is fine today and the left is barking at me and going up my neck. All I did was hold a small bag on my way to work, I think. It started when I was annoyed regarding a money issue and with some anger I have been holding in me. So outcome independence is telling me to focus on not giving in to fear today, my goal. I know I post about these things, but it helps me to put it out there. This is really bothering me so I'm focusing on not catastophizing.

Jimmy, instead of trying to fight fear— I’d focus wholeheartedly on these two issues that you pinpointed already. Journal about them, rage about them. All day while you’re in pain think about them. This is what’s going on. :)
