Diana-M
Beloved Grand Eagle
I tried something new, and it helps. As I do my dishes I get tired and have a chair handy for resting. Now, instead of just resting, I meditate while I rest. It is creating the sensation of safety and deepening it.
We all have locations and environments that if you even think about them, the pain flares. For me—sadly—it’s standing in my kitchen. So now, I’m training my body that the kitchen is a quiet place of peace. And I’m doing small amounts of work in it each day. Right now, a few dishes. (Daily! That’s the key!)
I wonder how many other ways this could be applied? Mixing baby steps with meditation?
