I'm keen on reading this too, and I wonder if it could be a good entry point for people just finding out about mindbody work. A book that synthesizes the PRT tools and approach with the emotional side (aka EAET) could help with people's confusion around which "path" to take—not that there is a correct one, but it's easy to read the Alan Gordon book and like I did still have no idea about Sarno or the repressed emotions side of things. Reading the early chapters, I find his breakdown of what to do to recover very comprehensive and simple and true to my experience so far (Paraphrasing, but: 1. Determine that there is no structural cause 2. PRT i.e. reduce fear of the structural and of symptoms 3. EAET i.e. feel your feelings! 4. Change anything in your life that needs changing).
