HealingMe
Beloved Grand Eagle
Since I've discovered TMS and Dr. Sarno, one night I was thinking about all the ailments I had as a child. I kept going back in my life, starting from today, to my 20's, to my teens, and childhood, and I've noticed a pattern of odd pains that couldn't be explained. I don't think it's a coincidence.
My mom would always tell me whenever I got sick, I would get a UTI, every time. She would have me soak in chamomile baths. My mom always said I was a quiet baby that never cried, and very sensitive.
From ages 7-8, I began having strange pain on the inside of my right foot. I walked funny for months avoiding the pain. It was like a muscle cramp and I was convinced that was how I would walk for the rest of my life. My parents took me to a foot specialist where they wanted me to wear an insert, but I refused and continued to walk funny. Finally, one day, something clicked. I decided to walk normal despite the pain. It went away.
When I moved out of my parents' home and was first time on my own, I had insomnia for the first year. I realized later I was incredibly sad and stressed with the big life change.
In my early 20's, I developed unexplained burning chest pain, twice. I had x-rays done with nothing of concern. It passed when I decided to move on with my life and ignore the pain. I also had horrible acid-reflux , it eventually cleared up. During my 20s I worked at a job that wasn't very good for my mental health, it was very stressful. I was angry all the time.
I was just wondering if anyone else has had symptoms since they were a child?
