That’s right, @Adam Coloretti (coach) — plus you can also talk to your brain through physical activities that speak safety to it.You have a lot of influence and say over that and there's a lot you can do.
what is the romantic mindHere's a post that could be written just for you, @Mani: https://www.tmswiki.org/forum/threa...opinions-appreciated.20723/page-4#post-173033
from a very old friend of the forum, RogueWave (and its predecessor forum, TMSHelp). Note that he also uses the word mindset, and then he brings up the old-fashioned concept of will power. The description of the two personality types most resistant to change, both sound like you!
what is the romantic mind
It's funny how we are all different. For me seeing people living successfully always gives me hope. For if they can do it, so can I.
Like Jan says, MINDSET.
Those people are no better or smarter or.........dare I say it...........healthier......than us.
What they have that we don't have is the mindset that they are healthy. That when they get a pain they go, "hunh, I got a pain" rather than, "OMFG I'M IN PAIN! WHAT'S HAPPENING!!!"
We dwell. We worry. And our bodies pour out more chemicals and various other things to exacerbate and make our false vision of ourselves true.
So what if we change our visions of ourselves? Will our body follow along?
