Finding Monte Hueftles books

Hi, I am new to this forum. I have been aware of TMS pain for about 3 years now. Many of my running problems disappeared when I i discovered TMS. Still I have episodes when pain is back after running. The last few days I have learned about this man Monte Hueftle who also is a runner. He has written 2-3 books. I would really like to find a copy of one of his books. Have only found used one in the states. Takes a while to be delivered to Sweden where I live - probably also expensive with toll. Anyone on this forum who knows if I can buy/download his books from somewhere? His homepage from many years ago seems to be archived (runningpain.com).
Thanks in advance.
Ragnar

There are some more videos of Monte's, other than the one on our wiki, on YouTube, just in case you've not seen them https://www.youtube.com/@MonteLHueftle/videos

He also wrote some pieces on this forum, including these two: http://www.tmshelp.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=8610 (TMSHelp Forum - TMS Update - Message from Monte Hueftle) and http://www.tmshelp.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6168 (TMSHelp Forum - TMS Pain Update - A message from Monte Hueftle) and in fact if you go to this link and put in Monte under 'search by member' and under 'search for' put in TMS, all of his postings come up http://www.tmshelp.com/forum/search.asp (TMSHelp Forum - Search)

Great. Thank you very much.

I am also looking for Monte Hueftles 'The Master Practice'. If anyone is willing to sell it, please pm me:-)

I'm also very happy to pay for a photocopy of it.

I purchased his program in 2014 which included the book (really a booklet) and some audio files. Immensely helpful but his message is pretty basic.

Honestly every TMS “healing” message is pretty basic. Accept that it’s TMS, ignore the physical symptoms, look inside yourself (think psychologically) and get on with your life. His was the first message that stuck for me that TMS is just a sign that you need to stop and attend to how you are being. That’s his main point, TMS isn’t a random occurrence it’s a wake up call to say hey you are out of balance and you need to attend to your emotional and mental well being.

Everything you need to know about the master practice is contained in his content that’s already on this site and his available YouTube videos.

I’ve tried to reach out to him to let him know of current interest in his program. I’m not selling or giving away my copy and I don’t feel comfortable making copies (without his permission) since it’s his intellectual property not mine.

Edited to add - pretty much everything you need to know about The Master Practice is here: https://www.tmswiki.org/ppd/Archive_of_Monte_Hueftle%27s_Runningpain.com_updates (Archive of Monte Hueftle's Runningpain.com updates)

Thank you for the link! I understand about intellectual property and wouldn’t want to cross that line. I would certainly purchase it if he were to create an ebook or pdf file.

Luckily, I healed my "pudendal neuralgia" completely by continuing on the Alan Gordon and Howard Schubiner train. Monte Huftles videos on youtube was still invaluable in my process, as they really summed up the main points of TMS in concise and easily digestible manner, and made me realize the importance of understanding how I generate tension on a daily basis. Thank you Monte Hueftle, whereever you are in the world!

Oh, heck yes! And for some like me, it can be waaaaay out of balance. Like cleaning out a really big walk-in closet vs. a kitchen drawer. I figure that’s bound to take some time.

Did you have issues with sitting? If so was there a tool that helped the most? I realize this is a brain thing and I'm working at it but I find sitting in particular with PN difficult to manage. Thanks.

Sorry, getting a little off-topic, but I would like to respond to NCGal here.

Imense problems with sitting. I could not sit without a special pillow. The soloution was to start to sit without a pillow. 1 min the first day, 2 min the second etc.

There is actually nothing wrong with you in the case of PN. It is just your brain interpreting normal sensations (i.e. sitting) as dangerous, because you think theres something wrong. Its all about teaching your brain that sitting is safe, even though it feels unsafe because of the pain.

See my success story here:

I think you might enjoy listening to Mouse's inspiring story; she uses the analogy of cleaning out the fridge. There are two podcasts where she talks to Nicole Sachs about her recovery from very debilitating TMS symptoms https://audioboom.com/posts/7194309-wheelchair-bound-to-total-freedom-mighty-mouse (The Cure for Chronic Pain with Nicole Sachs, LCSW / Wheelchair Bound to Total Freedom - Mighty Mouse!)
