I'm thinking back to day 4 of this course. I'm trying to consciously say to myself it's ok, that's nothing physically wrong, it's a neural pathway that I can change etc.
That can still all be true, the function of this is to be less bothered and less fearful. Personally, I don't expect you to like the pain, it's supposed to get your attention. But there's pretty much always a big difference in your fear levels when you know there's nothing wrong with your body vs when you're not sure (all humans care about whether their body is damaged or not so this has to be true, it's survival instinct and is biologically wired).
