I think the most profound and helpful item for me was the report that John Stossel did on 20/20. I watched it many times over. It was amazing how his years of back pain went away after he saw Dr Sarno. It was so interesting because he showed real people and they talked about their before and afters. I could really relate to what they were saying, as I also have spent time and money on many doctors, chiropractors, and specialists, etc. to no avail. If they could be cured why not me? Even celebrities like Howard Stern were saying how Dr. sarno saved their lives. Also I love John Stossel as a reporter. He does his job so well; he's down to earth and seems like a really nice guy.
On the negative side, and maybe I shouldn't even go there, but I need to get my feelings out, correct? I wish I could go to one of Dr Sarno's lectures that he makes all his patients attend because that's what seems to cure them. I've read all of his books and I still have my pain so I figure I must be doing something wrong. I guess part of my brain still hasn't accepted TMS.
The story was pretty incredible just the same.
