For day 10 I wrote an unsent letter about my upcoming job interview. I noticed how much pressure this situation creates, especially the feeling that I have to know everything in advance and make the “right” decision right away. RIGHT NOW.
The interview triggers an old belief that doubt equals weakness and that I’m not allowed to be uncertain. This leads to anxiety, mental looping, and physical tension. Writing about it helped me see how much this stress comes from internal pressure rather than the interview itself!!
What feels important is allowing myself to approach the interview as exploration instead of a decision. Realizing that I’m allowed to gather information, take my time, and not have all the answers already feels grounding and reduces the sense of threat.
