Consumer Reports: "Stop Pain Now!"

The June issue of Consumer Reports, just out, has really jumped the shark this time. Having long since abandoned its original mission of testing dishwashers and refrigerators and now presenting itself as a champion of social engineering and dubious science, this issue tackles the topic of “Pain Relief Now!” with nary a mention of TMS or Dr. Sarno. The series of articles appears to reinforce the notion that structural damage and injuries are the cause of most pain, and go on to present the reader with a smorgasbord of the usual “treatments.”

Yes, quit reading Consumer Reports several decades ago when it strayed from it's mission reviewing consumer products to political activism. I found many of the products they reviewed weren't even available on the West Coast.
