Day 19 Change to overcome TMS

Ask a TMSer: To what extent is it necessary for a person to change who they are in order to overcome TMS? If you have an answer to this question feel free to post it in a thread.

Hello all on this S E P journey.

I think the answer to the above question for
me is about being open minded to change
and making the necessary changes that
you need to.

One of the changes that is happening at the
moment for me is that I have always felt
responsibility of everyone’s wellbeing,
and now I realise that it’s not my responsibility.

I am setting new boundaries in my
life, and putting my needs and
my well-being first. I’m prioritising
myself.

One example of this is I’m taking
3 weeks of my work at the moment,
As I don’t normally take enough time
off. It feels great to not meet any ones
needs during this time.

I feel like I’m finally valuing myself.

Have a good day to everyone on this
journey, it’s quite profound and positive.

Lee
