Sorry to ask here but can't find the help anywhere else on site
For those who have been using the forum longer than me can I change my username? Or do I have to close my account and reopen?
Is there a site admin I can contact?
I am now aware of people I know using the forum and this makes it harder for me to be open and honest when I am identifiable by them !

It's this one, @Dee.1983.

The reason we don't allow name changes is because once you've got back-and forth conversations where people reference or quote your original username in their posts, it's too confusing to future readers of older threads to have that identity not exist.

Eg: in this thread, a name change would suddenly mean that your post would appear to be written by the new avatar and name, while my post would always refer twice to the old one.
 
Yeah I did think that would be the case, silly me not thinking about this to begin with !
I'll have to just start over.
