Can pain awakening be tms?

My doctor investigated my belly with het hands and measured yesterday the inflammation values in a drop of blood of my finger. And this value was slightly elevated. So this confirmed the diverticulitis diagnosis and was not based only on symptoms.

I'd be curious to know if you've ever had that blood test result in the last 12 years - because those tests can't just test your colon they test overall inflammation in the body (from my understanding). So that could be due to a number of reasons, and also a slightly elevated level of inflammation isn't uncommon and can be found in otherwise healthy/asymptomatic people (it can simply be a sign of general health, such as blood pressure).

According to these guidelines the inflammation should be gone within from a few days to 2 weeks.

Perfect! Hopefully that completely wipes your symptoms - either way, you'll have a much clearer picture in two weeks :)

But the assumption that tms symptoms are safe and there is no real physical problem is in this case less true then normally in the tms cases that I read about.

Perhaps, but TMS theory always suggests (it's more than a suggestion really, should be "requires") a person to be completely checked by the medical system. They are safe assuming that medical conditions are ruled out, so if doctors miss things then that's hard to account for - TMS is putting faith in doctors from that perspective also - that's where the assumption you talk about comes from, it's not irresponsible. TMS theory also encourages people to get re-checked when symptoms change wildly, so those situations are also captured (which seemed to have happened here, it's good/wise that you trusted your intuition and got it checked).

I am re considering what can be going on in or with me? But first: the left bottom cramps are gone and cramps are back to normal for in the early morning. I'm content with that, much better. But was it the stress/tms or the metformine or both that caused the LB cramps? This is confusing but also to learn from. Re considering what is TMS capable of doing besides generating pain. But also re considering taking metformine again but now less stress and maybe a lower or alternating dose? Re considering if the weak spot in the last curve of my colon is real and why was this not diagnosed earlier? Could this be tms generated? Hopefully there will be good answers. Thank you again Adam, for help reflecting and pursuing this with me !

You're welcome! It's hard to say, and that's why medication can be tricky (although you're taking it for another reason, which is fair enough). I'd focus on those personality traits we discussed earlier and taking the pressure off of yourself when it comes to the TMS work :)
