Annular tear l5-S1

Has anyone had an annular tear and healed from it because u accepted it was tms? I was told from my mri that my low back pain and sciatica pain are the cause of an annular tear to my L5-S1.
I have read Sarnos books and felt I was healed for a couple months but recently had a relapse of discomfort and pain. I have also has some stress in my family life.
Any help or advice would be appropriated. Thanks in advance.

Hey Mitch,

According to Dr. Sarno and others that follow his concepts, no, those things absolutely do not cause pain. They are simply incidental findings on an MRI and are a natural aging process of the spine.
 
Yes, I do remember reading that.

If you’ve not yet read Steve Ozanich’s work, I highly recommend it. His way of explaining TMS can really boost one’s confidence, and it is pure Sarno based.
 
I actually just started reading it. I’m also thinking about doing a Skype consultation with him in the near future.
