Ankle Sprain - Still In Pain

100% everything that @Diana-M is saying, @Bealillie.

As many people here advise, it's time for you to read Dr Sarno again. Get a copy of The Divided Mind if you never read that one. Many libraries have all of his books in multiple formats. Then start The Structured Educational Program on the main TMSWiki.org. It's free of charge and free from any kind of registration. Just do it.
Have left my life as I knew it and it’s hard to do TMS work because of doubt and certain life and financial pressures.
Honey, this sentence screams !!!TMS!!! in more ways than one. Add in world dysfunction and probably the fact of aging, and it would be strange if you weren't experiencing a big TMS setback!

Don't ever forget that Doubt is the single most effective tool that your TMS brain mechanism uses to keep you stuck.

BTW, I brought up aging even though you could be 40 years younger than I am, and I did that for two reasons:
1. It is a fact that ain't none of us getting any younger, and turning 60 was my personal trigger for a crisis of cascading symptoms back in 2011 after a lifetime of mild and manageable TMS;
and
2. We have literally had people, mostly guys, tell us that they've given up on physical activity in their 30s because clearly they are too old and shouldn't even try. I am not making this up.

You've done it before, you can do it again. Engage your rational brain and attack those repressed emotions.
