Day 8 All the pieces, coming together

This has been my light at the end of a very dark tunnel.
Stream of consciousness, if you'll indulge me:
  • Too good to be true...but, it's not because just in this first week I've walked faster and farther, had sex after about a year of pain-induced celibacy, gone to the gym and lifted weights, gone to 2 yoga classes, and offered to drive.
  • I feel like freedom is possible, and it scares me because I've been in fear for so long.
  • I knew it! Nothing is wrong with me!
  • No wonder they discredited Dr. Sarno - the medical industry only likes solutions they can make money on.
  • I have had TMS since I was a kid! Constant incurable "ear infections" because my parents yelled constantly, and I hated it.
  • Today, I had pain about 5 minutes after seeing the "trigger" and realized how wonderful my mind is at suppressing uncomfortable thoughts and converting them to pain responses.
  • I'm just so grateful to have found a solution I believe in, finally - I have known that searching for a "cure" outside of myself would always be a dead end - so me being the problem and the solution, sits very right with me.
I'm securely buckled and here for the ride!

Whether it feels true or not yet, you're already 95% better just by having these realisations/experiences and coming to the mindset/belief that aligns with TMS - congratulations! :)
