  • I’m exploring TMS for a chronic pelvic floor nightmare I have had for over twenty years. It feels like a corn cob is shoved up my rear end and it just sits there throbbing and twisting. I’m listening to The Mind Body Prescription by Dr Sarno as I type this. What are your experiences with hypnosis/audio visualization and meditation for chronic pain?

Sorry for the late reply! I haven’t used hypnosis, visualization, or meditation. If it seemed that way, it might’ve been a translation error. When I try to focus inward, the pain actually feels worse. For me, staying gently active and distracting myself works much better than meditation.
