  • I bought your book 3 days ago and have read it 3 times! What an inspiration you are. Thank you for being so candid. I feel comforted reading that this is possible to overcome and I have adopted your exact approach. You were 99% at the end of the book. Did you ever get to 0 symptoms 100% recovery?

Thank you for the feedback on my book, and I am glad it is helping you to feel more confident in fighting TMS. I don't think I will ever achieve 100%, not because I can't overcome specific symptoms, but because I am prone to TMS, and so I can't just relax and return to the old way of life. Life became a journey, but it is not a journey through pain, but rather a journey of self-discovery. Does it make sense?
Hi there! I saw on another post you developed rosacea and it went away with a TMS approach.

I developed rosacea during my 2nd pregnancy. I am working with a TMS therapist now and have made huge progress with my symptoms. It never occurred to me however that my rosacea could be sticking around due to TMS…. I am curious if you remember if you had the kind that was bumps or just redness/flushing?

I had bumps and rash, but I did not get rid of it with a TMS approach, I did not know about it back then. It went away gradually as stress levels subsided. However, I am convinced that if there is no strong evidence pointing at other culprits (like poisoning of some kind etc), rosacea is TMS. Even official medicine points to stress as one of the causes of rosacea.

Thank you for your response! I have type 2 that was caused by an overgrowth of Demodex mites. I have been treating them for just over a year and my symptoms should have been resolved at this point according to my derm. I have fixated on my rosacea and my husband is convinced that my fixation has somehow created an environment where my mites can thrive. Food for thought!

Hi! I noticed on another post you mentioned thinning skin being a symptom. Was this just on feet and hands, and did it go back to normal? I feel like the skin on my legs has gotten thinner/shinier since symptoms started. Thanks in advance!

Thinning skin was on fingers only. It is all back to normal.
I read your book. You had a difficult journey, I'm happy you are OK now. Good work! I talked to 3 people this morning and recommended your fantastic book. It helps me a lot. Gradually, I'm increasing my meditations now. I've been using the same tools as you:forum, mindfulness, meditation, exercise. I started some time ago. Thank you for taking the time to write it. God bless!
I just read the Foreward to your book & will be ordering the paperback later this month.
I live w/an "incurable" neurological disorder.
I'm in process of diving deeper into any residual emotional stuff. A TMS home program helped me in the early 2000s to overcome previous different chronic illnesses. So, here I go again. ;)
I look forward to reading your story. Love the title, btw. :)

feel free to ask questions if you have any. Best of luck!
Hey TG.. I want to say again how much I enjoyed your book. I keep going back to it when I need inspiration or patience lol. I mentioned it on a Curable post - a gal Rachel Claire also recovered from CRPS so I mentioned your book. She says she is recommending it to her CRPS buddies . Hopefully it will inspire. It sure did for me. Blessings Tamara

Thank you so much! I am planning to start working on my next project, which is to publish a Kindle edition of the CRPS success stories together with miffybunny . Once we get going, I will ask you for Rachel Claire's info. CRPS world is weird, people are attached to their pain and would not give it up. We want to break through that wall! I hope you will get better and better every day!
Greetings. Just bought your book. Looking forward! Doing Alan's course & reading; Dr David R Hawkins, Letting Go, Power vs Force, Healing and Recovery and Sarno's Mindbody Prescription. I read latter in the 80s or 90s, as well as Power vs Force. Wasn't ready. TMS journey is turning out to be interesting. Coincides with goal to find joy and serenity (I turn 70 this year). Blessings to you and thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much and best of luck to you, too! Remember, age is irrelevant. Once you are done with your already heavy book list, check this one out: Daniel Levitin, Successful Aging. This one is so inspiring!
