after 40 years in bed...I AM NOW MIGRAINE FREE!!!

Hello! I just spoke with Dr Steinberg after reading about some positive results and found this thread. I was a bit disappointed about the diet part. I don't have an unhealthy diet and typically go for organic whole food and will sometimes have the naughty treat and I see any type of restriction...

Get angry vs managing stress without anger

a better example would be getting angry at a customer service agent who isn't listening to what I am asking for and talking over me. The anger is about not being heard and that I have a "right" to be heard as a paying customer.

Get angry vs managing stress without anger

Sorry if I gave you the impression of having road "rage", it was just as an example and it's how it's expressed when driving and getting upset at other drivers. I should have said I no longer get upset as a driver like I used to because I know I can't control others and I know when I get angry...

Get angry vs managing stress without anger

@feduccini says to release the anger when safely alone. By then the moment will have passed, are you suggesting we should make a daily habit at the end of each day to just punch a pillow regardless to release the stress and tension of the day. Sometimes we can experience multiple situations that...

Get angry vs managing stress without anger

Some situations are just not worth getting angry about but can still evoke an angry reaction - e.g. somebody cutting you up on the road. I have learned to no longer engage in road rage - but this has become a learned behaviour and at times it can still evoke a reaction (eg I am running late and...

Get angry vs managing stress without anger

Hi, I am curious is it better to manage stressful situations without getting angry (I am dealing with something and it is not going my way so I am trying to adopt a calm approach since it's not going to change the situation) or fly in a rage and feel the anger? I'm confused as TMS says to feel...

What happens when you get a sudden severe attack?

Yes I have been doing this and also journaling. I think it wants me to stop doing the task in question when I got the attack because of my subconscious belief that I’m going to fail and that I’m not good enough to make a success of it. Could that be happening? Or am I coming at it from the wrong...

What happens when you get a sudden severe attack?

A severe attack in the neck has happened to me about an hour ago. I’d been working at the computer for a good few hours and I knew I should have stopped earlier but wanted to finish up a document. Well the minute I got this attack in my neck I HAD to stop. I’m pretty new to TMS and I’m not sure...

    Just starting out…

I’ve read the mind body prescription and healing back pain. I’ve had symptoms for over a decade to a varying degree. At the moment I have several symptoms happening, usually the worst are morning headaches which tend to dissipate after about an hour of waking. In 2014 I had an MRI showing 2...

    Is physical exercise necessary?

Oh that sounds great. So are you actually exercising or just feeling like you are? If the latter doesn't that defeat the object of moving?

    Is physical exercise necessary?

Yes this all makes sense. I am trying to find the motivation to do something. I used to go to yoga regularly and trained as a yoga teacher but since 2020, aside from walking I have no regular activity that makes me move. I know it is good for me and I have things I could do at home. What I do...
