How does one feel genuinely okay about life when this world is so crazy?

Idearelist - here's another Tolle video but this one he actually made very recently from his home, and again he addresses directly your issue of how it's possible to feel okay about things withe the way the world is right now - starting at around 12 minutes in he starts to discuss it. You will...

How does one feel genuinely okay about life when this world is so crazy?

Of course. Totally normal. I doubted it myself up until maybe a few years ago, and I am almost middle-aged. I don't say this to sound superior in any way - but the majority of humans still don't fully grasp this -- or dismiss it entirely -- and that is exactly why we still have so much more...

    Pulled Muscle

That's a great point, Miss Metta. Wow - sounds like you've had a pretty rough go of things and I'm sorry for everything you've been through. Hope you push on as always though since you already know it's TMS :)

Idearealist - There are a lot ways to think about the world's current situation. If we're only looking at and focusing on all the horrible things happening -- of course it is going to feel overwhelming. But... Consider that real change only comes with real suffering. Not enough people...

    Pulled Muscle

So... played soccer today once again and my leg is fine. Actually I'm now feeling it more in my groin :) Clearly it is TMS. You were right, Baseball65. An odd thing happened last week before I played. I was on the beach the morning of mid-week game and I stepped on a bee. I felt a burning...

    Pulled Muscle

Interesting. Thanks for your input Baseball65. Yeah it's very sneaky because it comes back when you least expect it but also when you WOULD expect it: ie, returning to a sport after a long hiatus. It's weird though because I am not going through anything tumultuous in my life right now -- well...

    Pulled Muscle

Thanks, Andy. It has been three weeks since my return to soccer and since the injury started. In-between games -- ie, intervals of anywhere from 3 to 4 days (since I play twice a week) -- I have been treating it as you said, with the typical ice, rest, etc...., and every time during these rest...

    Pulled Muscle

Hi everyone -- I wasn't able to find very much in here about pulled muscles, so I thought I'd start a new thread. I recently returned to playing soccer after a 7-month hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I went really hard my first game and ended up with a very very sore right leg - pretty...

KNEE PAIN - IS THIS TMS, TOO?

Thanks, Andy. You make a really good point. The pain is nearly intense or constant enough to be TMS. Thanks so much for your input and Happy New Year :)

KNEE PAIN - IS THIS TMS, TOO?

Hi - I've posted on this forum before regarding my lower back pain (TMS, resolved completely) and plantar facsitis (also TMS, resolved completely). I am now suffering from knee pain after a kind of confusing set of events that are making me very confused as to if it's a real physical thing or...
