    Day 1

Hey Amina - My seb derm is 95% gone. Stress was a huge factor and when I was able to refocus my thoughts it went down a bunch. The extra reduction was due to some lifestyle changes like exercise and reduction in processed foods.

    TMS in remission

I wanted to post an update for anyone who is struggling right now. I had a really rough couple of months starting in January. A history of TMS issues spanning back over the last 10 years or so that came and went. Had my worst episode from Jan-April this year. Terrible groin pain that brought on...

    Thank you all

Just wanted to hop on here and post a big thanks to those who helped me get better from this last TMS episode. Been off here for a few months as I just enjoy life again. This last episode was really dark. I hadn't had one for years but with Covid and some real health issues my brain was unable...

    Muscle twitches

So here is proof about the muscle twitching. Haven't had these for weeks and replied to this thread today and boom my right thigh is spasming like crazy today.

    Muscle twitches

From what I am learning this go around, just recognize that its not the actual leg twitching that's the issue, it's your fear of it and that it won't go away ever or lead to a worse condition that keeps it around. Recognizing that fear and telling yourself that its just the anxiety and fear...

    Muscle twitches

No reason to worry. My calf and upper thigh around my knee twitch often, especially bad during this anxiousness I am having now. They stopped when I stopped focusing on them. My brother has this too. Tension and stress are big for muscle twitching. Mine use to go crazy before I stopped worrying...

    Adductor Hip & Glute Tension

Bpopik - Just to let you know, I am dealing with similar issues right now....very similar. Mine all started back in August of 2020 with a real health scare, DVT. That worried me because they told me that I could have long term leg pain, some people do and it usually shows up within 6 months. So...

Could use some advice: What do you do when you know why you have pain, but it still won't go away?

I think this statement is key and is also super hard. This is what I have been working on myself. Trying to be indifferent when my symptoms come on.

Pelvic Floor/ Frequent Urination - Step 1- TMS acceptance Step 2?

Well, your post is pretty timely. I just got over this chronic prostatitis when it shifted to another issue that has taken over my 'worry'. I had a series of chronic stress issues back starting in August 2020. A real health issue, super stressful work project, COVID. I was very stressed in...

Just can't get 100% with my mind this time

Man this is spot on. It makes so much sense when I read what you say but in the moment I can’t think logically. I try and think emotional and about “repressed emotions”... I feel like I have hashes through all of them. It is as simple as the anxiety about the physical acts I think being on pain...

Just can't get 100% with my mind this time

Well I woke up today and reread Healing Back Pain. My family are all later sleepers but me so it was a good time to be still. I was amazed at how much about myself I could see in the pages that I missed the first time around. I realized I haven’t been active in trying to talk to myself and my...

    Lower Back Pain Update

I have had times with minimal to no pain but it always comes back. It has moved into my left back and him. Now my old symptoms of prostatitis are coming back too. I’m so frustrated.

Just can't get 100% with my mind this time

I listed to a few of them, the one about fear and then somatic tracking. There was actually a female who they did a session with who had SI joint pain and it parallels mine. Maybe 5/10 pain, most times 2 and sometimes for brief periods it is gone. The key for me is to get the fear gone and...
