Ellen, thank you so much for your message! You have no idea how much hope you have given me. I know the TMS approach works because it has worked for me before but I felt like getting rid of migraines would be different because of the medication aspect. I will do as you say, that is taking the...
Hello all!
I am not new to TMS as I have successfully healed myself more than 5 years ago of debilitating chronic neck pains. However I started having migraines (at first every 6-7 months to now once or twice a week!) since march 2015. Silly me only realized (or fully accepted) this week that...
Wow thanks for the great answers everyone!
Veronica73 when you said "TMS/perfectionist mindset is pretty insidious so I find myself getting hung on perfection even with my own recovery and that over others." you have it right on the nose! I think I'll just tell her about my recovery and see from...
I am almost 100% sure a colleague of mine has TMS. The problem: she is a physician and I fell weird telling her about TMS since her training always taught her that pain is a result of a physical problem.

Thanks!
Welcome Jilly and Carolyn! I wish you both a great SEP. It helped me a lot (day 16 for me!) and hope it will do the same for you!
Don't be shy about posting on the forum, the people are great and help a lot!

You are absolutely right! I was rushing to get down the stairs and I fell! And I know I usually rush and don't take the time to really do things but now I think I learned my lesson! I have a bruise the size of a "size 7" women's shoe on my ass!!!! It hurts when I sit down but other from that no...
"Now that you're onto TMS even if new areas of pain come up you know what's going on."
You're right! And it's been 4 hours since the fall and I feel much better.
I have been doing really well since I discovered I have TMS a little more than 2 weeks ago. However, this morning I fell down the stairs and now my left buttocks and lower back hurt like crazy. I mean this is normal since I just fell down but how will I know in a few days if the pain is supposed...
