Day 27 - Trouble connecting pain to emotions

Thank you for the reminders to check out Nicole Sachs. She was on my radar, but now I'll make sure to take a look at her program when I'm done with this one. And yes, I definitely have been editing my journaling and not digging deep enough. It's all part of the journey. I'll get there one day.

Day 27 - Trouble connecting pain to emotions

Today, on day 27, the journaling assignment is this: "Take a past event or strong emotions and journal about how it has caused minor, or major, flare-ups of TMS/PPD. This can be something like allergies or acid reflux, or a pain problem such as back pain or leg pain. As you write try to think of...

    Day 25 Mixed Feelings

So, at day 25 I have to admit that I'd hoped to be farther along in my healing. A year ago I read one of Dr. Sarno's books and it did help me a bit and it opened my mind to TMS, which I'm grateful for. Day 18 - Common Emotions

Looking back over the past 2+ weeks I did identify some very common emotions that keep coming up in nearly all the journal entries: sadness, guilt, anger, anxiety. Those are some pretty heavy feelings I've been carrying around, not noticing for many years. This program has helped me to notice my...

Hiding Emotions from a loved one

I don't feel those really hateful things when they happen, but they only come out in journaling so far. I imagine that I'll slowly start to feel things things in real time as they are happening so I can address them and notice them, but that hasn't starting happening yet.

Day 10 - New pain gone

Yes! But some of it is back today. But it is encouraging to see things changing.

Hiding Emotions from a loved one

In day 10 we are supposed to ponder who we may be hiding our emotions from. I believe in my case it's my husband and my son. Today I actually wrote a letter to my husband as part of the journaling assignment and I did the same to my son the other day. I frightened myself quite a bit for the...

Day 10 - New pain gone

So I realized today in day 10 of the structured program that a new pain I developed in February has completely gone away. It had started to weaken before I started the program, but it still was there daily. And now it's 100% gone. It was fascia related, which was new for me as well. I'm quite...
