    Looking for some guidance

Thank you Andy. I do feel that sometimes I may be trying a bit too hard. Perfectionist personality I am sure. I know attention and fear fuel the beast. It can be hard not to think about it at all. I guess acceptance is fine, but then don't feed into it anymore? Anyone else have symptoms move...

Pingman, I am sorry you don't have the support that you should. Please lean on members of this site for that. I am fortunate to have a wife that not only lead me to TMS, but is a great support for me. Life pressures with children can create great internal rage for having to take care of them...

    Looking for some guidance

As I had recently posted, I beat 7 year back pain a couple years ago 100%. I have not had any discomfort since that time. I have had an increase in job stress in the last few months and experienced high level of consistent anxiety with insomnia. Last week, I slept well one night and felt great...

    Moving!?!

TMS is a crazy thing. I cured myself a couple years ago and had a relapse a month ago. No back pain this time, just some bad insomnia and consistent anxiety. So, two days ago I had a great day after sleeping and minimal anxiety if any. I felt great. Then (while laying on the couch) my back...

    I am back

I think that it contributed to it by losing a sense of schedule/purpose. I think it was the tipping point and then my body/mind was left with an empty area. And at this point I was only working and when left with the free time made me vulnerable. I needed to pay more attention to fun and living.

I believe so, think psychological whenever the pain is there and go about your day. It is really trying to get your attention more now than ever. Have faith my friend and maybe go walking/hiking. These things move around to keep the fear going. If we just live, it will lose its hold. Joseph

    Looking for help

Great advice Pingman and I am trying to get there. A few nights this week when I woke up I didn't really care and changed my attitude about it. A couple hours later and I fell back asleep. 4-5 hours not too bad. Last night when I woke up, I took an Ambien and slept another couple hours. Funny...

    Looking for help

Hello all, I have posted recently and had previously beat TMS couple years ago. The only thing I have now is constant anxiety and insomnia. I could really use some guidance with this from anyone who has dealt with this. Do you just try to ignore it? I am lost with it. I am meditating too. Thank...

    Anxiety Question

A agree Steve about the fear. Fear and attention are what fuel TMS. I had a back problem for over 7 years and took medication for it on a regular schedule. Then after one bad flare up and finding the work of the Dr. Sarno, I stopped medication in one day and told myself I was fine. I went...

    Anxiety Question

Pingman, so good to hear from you old friend. I did successfully beat all two years ago and fell victim to my old lifestyle and I think not looking after myself enough. Anyway, I got knee pain out of nowhere and quickly took off the brace and became active with bike etc. Pain went away and soon...
