Alan Gordon is a LCSW psychotherapist specialized in treating chronic pain, and practices in Los Angeles, California. He has extensive experience working with TMS clients suffering from back and neck pain, RSI, fibromyalgia, IBS, tendonitis, pelvic pain, chronic headaches, and other pain disorders. He has written widely on the topic of chronic pain, and his article "The Miracle of Mindbody Medicine" in HCPJ outlines the history, theory, evidence, and treatment protocol for TMS/PPD. Alan is an adjunct lecturer at USC and has presented on the topic of pain treatment at hospitals, mental health facilities, and pain centers throughout Southern California.(Source)

Alan Gordon is a member of the PPDA, which organized the 2nd annual TMS Conference held in March 2010. He was the chair for organizing the conference and spent a large amount of his free time publicizing the conference. His work helped create a successful conference.
